Crosscut a piece of wood (remove 1” of wood from the short edge by pulling the saw down, with the long edge of the piece resting on the rollers)
Mark the wood
Insert wood from the right
Line up blade with mark
Rip a piece of wood (remove 1” of wood from the long edge by pulling the wood through the blade, with the long edge of the piece resting on the rollers)
Turn the blade horizontal, making sure that the feed direction points to the left
Push then pull the piece of wood
Make sure that the wood doesn’t fall into the blade once it’s cut
