Join us to see a a homemade cider press in action and taste the results. This year Community Supported Brewing has a big year of making apple cider! We just pressed 30 gallons of Fresh sweet cider at our big pressing party. We’re ready fo finish all these apples and bring our tools and fruit to MakeHaven this Thursday evening. Come and help and learn how it happens. Bring a bottle with you to take some to home, or take some in your belly.

Quilters of all levels are invited to join this quilting meetup.
This educational room has seating and tables suitable for instruction away from the noise of the main workshop. It is located on the first floor of 770 Chapel Street. Guests should ring the MakeHaven doorbell, then proceed down the long hallway. When you get the main MakeHaven staircase by the double elevators, rather than go downstairs, proceed through the double glass doors, take a right down the hallway and you will see a room with a big robot sticker on the door.
An FCC Amateur Radio Licensing exam session will be held at MakeHaven by the MakeHaven Underground Radio Group.
ALL 3 levels of FCC licensing exam will be offered: Technician, General and Amateur Extra. Applicants should have studied the ARRL Licensing Manual and/or other training materials for the level of exam they wish to take and should bring all required materials.

In this introductory class, Akeera will take you through the steps of making your very own cutting board, while showing you how to use a planer, table saw, chop saw, and sander. You'll then finish your cutting board with mineral oil.
Participants will leave class with their own 10"x12" handmade cutting board!
