License to Kiln: Fused Glass Pendant Making

Repeats every day 2 times.
Saturday, July 8, 2023 - 12:00pm to 3:00pm

Anna and Kris are excited to share some warm glass knowledge with you!
Anna is a textile maven and a skilled flutist with a particular interest in slumping and draping glass. She's a textile and 3D facilitator at MH and an experienced teacher. Kris has been working with and learning about fused glass for 4+ years and has her own kiln. Kris has frequently taught friends, but this is her first foray into teaching at MH.

You will select your colors from an array glass and design your own pattern for 4 glass pendants. Examples will be available to help inspire you and help you understand what your (likely) end result will be. They will be fired into finished cabochons (shaped & polished pendants). You'll then clean the pieces and mount bails to finish them. You will fit them with a simple necklace, you can bring a chain of your own if you want, completing the pieces.

You will leave with 4 custom made fused glass pendants, ready to wear or gift!

All materials will be provided, be aware that the fasteners used could potentially contain nickel.
