VCarve and OMAX are both platform-specific software with their own set of idiosyncrasies and payment packages. Fusion360 is ostensibly free and can design for most of the machines in the space - but there is a lack of in-depth training available. Would very much like to learn how to setup up a boot sector on a secondary/non-primary drive(a lot of people have windows PC's with room for second drives), encrypt the rest of the drive, and install archlinux (preferably led by someone who has a bit of experience with these things so that they may be able to answer questions about setting up encryption and Arch. :-] Cost: unknown |
