Video watched, quiz taken, hair/clothing properly restrained, any questions?
Identify and describe all controls, adjustments, and functions of the drill press
Change the belt speed
Keep belt straight
Tension belt
When to use what speed (slow for metal, fast for wood, slower for bigger bits)
Secure workpiece
Use scrap under workpiece if necessary
Clamp appropriately
Drill hole
Choose appropriate drill bit
Chuck it firmly
Put bed at appropriate height
Set depth stop to appropriate depth
Drill hole, pecking (in and out to clear chips) if necessary
Cleaning up tool
Replacing accessories
Vacuumed up after use
