This Jumpstart gift certificate gives the recipient 3 months of membership at MakeHaven plus 8 weeks introduction to the makerspace tools through the Guided Exploration of Makerspace Skills (GEMS) program. Completing the GEMS experience will be a great jumping off point to learn any of the 100+ tool learning units (badges) at MakeHaven.

 

Requirements: 

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Approximately 5 hours per week for 8 weeks.
  • Availability to join sessions (Wednesdays)
    • January 11th @6:30pm
    • January 18th @6:30pm
    • January 25th @6:30pm
    • Feburary 1st @6:30pm
    • March 1st @6:30pm

 

Addtional Information:

  • No previous experience required; this is a basic introduction to the makerspace.
  • The experiences can be given as gift or taken by person who buys it.
  • Fee is refundable before January 4th upon request. 
  • We expect to have another session in March, dates TBD
  • Existing members are encuraged to signup for themselves via makehaven.org/gems page (recive same benfiits)

  • After submitting this form you will be emailed a printable giftable certificate for the course and membership which becomes valid with payment.

  • *Participants who complete the GEMS program receive two additional months credit -- 3 months in the program + additional 2 months awarded at completion for total of five months.
