Join us for the followup event to NHv Software Freedom Day! The idea is simple: bring in a computer hardware/software project to hack on and ask for help and suggestions. We're not tech support; instead, we're here to support tech. It's not about fixing your computer for everyday tasks... it's about reviving dead machines, showing spare parts some TLC, and giving lonely motherboards a renewed purpose.
A group of us will be talking about how we might participate in LAMP a light festival in the 9th square.

We're celebrating Software Freedom Day on Sat Sep 21st from 11:00am - 4:00pm! Join us for a cryptoparty, an informal gathering centered around practical cryptography. We will be installing/configuring crypto software and signing PGP keys, so bring your laptops if you can.
So Gina and I were having coffee this morning and chatting with our friend Katy, when I noticed her 18 month old Paul grabbing hold of a parked bike's chain. Even though I thought this was funny (becuase for no good reason I would have done the same thing ....from his age up until about a couple of years ago) I didn't laugh but warned Katy who noted that he just had a bath (bonus dirt points) and that he really wants to ride a bike and that maybe she should get him a tricycle. Meetup to talk about and participate in making music. The focus of first meetup ha been on creating electronic music but all music makers are welcome. The group will do brief introductions and then break into groups based on interest and skills. The goal will be to have groups work on sharing knowledge and work on small projects together.
