These clamps are great! https://www.harborfreight.com/48-in-aluminum-bar-clamp-60540.html
- Light and super easy to handle
- Plenty of force for most applications
- Quite cheap for the HF ones which are probably good enough
- Paul Sellers likes them https://paulsellers.com/2011/11/4473/
Suggested by a member: https://www.vacupress.com/ $6k for big system https://www.vacupress.com/vacupress-fliptop-table-press-frame-systems/ or a vacuum pressing bag system as a strong starting point https://www.vacupress.com/vacuum-pressing-bag-system/
The "must-have" tool for building off-grid systems and lithium battery pack assembly. Lithium batteries are easily damaged by excessive heat and cannot be welded with solder irons, the only way to assemble them is via a suitable spot welder. The spot welder we have in the shop is large and not suitable for this kind of work.
This is a "must-have" tool for various projects that require large gauge wiring, like home renovation, building off-grid electrical systems, solar & solar generators, e-bikes, etc. "Hammer" type crimpers struggle to create reliable connections and the majority of Chinese hydraulic crimpers are sold with dies that are not properly sized for AWG. TEMCo crimpers are properly sized for AWG wires and very reliable, based on reviews. The best tool should be able to crimp as large as 4/0 AWG lugs and as small as 6 AWG (or smaller) to be versatile.
This is a Prusa XL with 2 extruders.
Notes:
-Skip to 25:00 in the video for the section on the XL.
-Make sure to use the printer preset Original Prusa XL - 2T Input Shaper 0.6MM Nozzle
It allows all 3 lasers to be in use at one time and means you don't have to transfer the honeycombs back and forth. Here's one with no research just a quick Amazon search for reference: https://www.amazon.com/SCULPFUN-400mmx800mm-15-75x31-5inch-Accessories-H...
This area can be used to clean metal things gently. So if you have something that you want to remove the rust or paint from without removing any of the underlying metal (like a sandblaster would), this tool could be useful for that.
In this area we have two setups for stained glass making, including grinders, cutters, backlights, soldering tools, and more.
Many plastic recyclables in our area lack a stamp indicating the type of plastic used to create the object. This device would allow these items - including a significant % of caps/lids, to be sorted and recycled using the Precious Plastic machines: https://matoha.com/shop/plastell-desktop-18#attr=
