The Class
Promotional description: Include a sentence or two describing your meetup to prospective attendees (for listing on the registration page) and what people will do during the meetup (share your ideas for projects, show and tell of your favorite project, connect with others to collaborate, get tips, and find inspiration).
For example: to meet other makers, to discuss local markets, to coordinate a regular time for future meetups, to find the meaning of life, to collage a canvas to display at MakeHaven
We've had the most success with meetups happening weeknights between the hours of 5-9pm, or a weekend afternoon.
How long (eg 6-8pm) and how often (one time, every third Thursday, etc.)
For a single image (designing in Canva is great!) it should be 2160 x 1080. If you aren't able to create a banner image, please provide 2-5 images that are relevant to your meetup and we can create a collage

Where would you like to meet? The main tables in the space are great to get a feel for the space, but can also get loud at times. For a smaller group you can suggest the round table in the back or the couch area. The 1st floor activity room can comfortably seat about 15. If no preference, leave blank.
Examples: Projector, table camera, etc.
Most meetups don't require any tools. The exceptions here would be a group badging by a facilitator or a tool demo. If your meetup is looking to have a higher level of tool use, it is probably better suited for a paid class: https://www.makehaven.org/Propose-a-class
The Attendees
Age Minimum
Most meetups do not involve creating something and thus don't require materials. If you do need materials, we may need to have scrap available or request a materials cost -- we want meetups to be free or at most $5 per person if absolutely necessary. If there is something you need to purchase, we will discuss. Please include a link to materials, and indicate if link is specific or example. Lists should include expected amount of each item.
List anything attendees should bring with them. Examples: laptop w/ Windows OS and trial of Solidworks installed; a sock with a hole in it to repair, photos of completed projects or the project themself, snacks and drinks to share, etc. Just bring yourself is also perfectly great.
