MakeHaven Main Space

The main makerspace and connected shops. This is located at 770 Chapel Street. Registered participants should ring the MakeHaven labeled doorbell. They will be directed down a long hallway, and down a set of stairs to our basement workshop.

MakeHaven's female* members are invited to the woodshop to add some woodworking badges to their toolbelt. In this session, MakeHaven woodshop facilitator Jen will lead a group of women through badging for the band saws, Shapeoko CNC router and hand routers!

Come earn the lathe badge and/or spend time working on your project in the woodshop with a great group of women. Celebrate our badges/work with a toast a the end! MakeHaven will provide beer & wine at the close (feel free to BYOB if you have a favorite!) Note that as per usual MH rules, time in the woodshop ends when alcohol consumption begins. Members are also welcome to BYOB/snacks.

*This event is open to all MakeHaven members who identify as female, transgender, femme, genderqueer, trans-masculine, trans-feminine, or feel that their socialization or treatment as a woman, transperson, femme could impede their participation in woodworking.
