The handheld belt sander is a versatile power tool used to smooth and shape wood and other materials by sanding away rough surfaces. Members at a makerspace utilize it for various projects, including furniture making, model building, and crafting, to achieve a fine finish on their creations. Its portability allows for easy maneuverability in tight spaces and intricate designs.

Game Night

MakeHaven Main Space

The main makerspace and connected shops. This is located at 770 Chapel Street. Registered participants should ring the MakeHaven labeled doorbell. They will be directed down a long hallway, and down a set of stairs to our basement workshop.

Lets get together and play some games. We will have some games: Resistance, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Risk and a home built game. Come by and try them out or bring your own games.

The Table Saw is used primarily to rip wood. 

If a user triggers the Sawstop by contacting the blade with wet wood, glue, metal or a body part, they are responsible for the replacement cost of the cartridge in the Store.
