Join Yale’s Stroke Neurology Division for Stamp Out Stroke, a free, public community education program designed to help you recognize the warning signs of stroke, understand the importance of rapid response, and take steps toward prevention.

In this informative and interactive session, you’ll learn:

  • The key facts everyone should know about stroke—what it is, who’s at risk, and why every second counts.

  • How to recognize the most common signs of stroke using the FAST acronym (Face, Arms, Speech, Time).

  • What to do if you or someone near you shows symptoms—and why immediate action can save lives and improve outcomes.

  • Practical lifestyle changes that can help reduce your risk, including managing blood pressure, quitting smoking, and staying active.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested, as seats are limited by space.

Stroke can affect anyone—but with knowledge and action, you can make a difference. We hope you’ll join us for this important conversation.
