What to Expect

Enjoy an engaging session led by Amy Demers, founder of the CT Foraging Club. The class includes lecture-style teaching with visual examples and discussion, plus time for Q&A. You’ll walk away with the knowledge and confidence to begin safely identifying mushrooms that are fruiting in our region this season. A cup of chaga tea is included with your ticket.

Who Should Attend

Perfect for beginners with an interest in foraging, natural wellness, herbalism, or outdoor skills. No prior experience necessary—just curiosity and a love of nature.

Prerequisites/Safety Information

No prerequisites. Open to all adults. Youth 13+ may attend with a parent or guardian present. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a notebook if you’d like to take notes.
