Makers Who Sell: Show & Tell (Real Stories from Local Makers)
What does it look like to go from making things for fun to making things that actually sell?
Join MakeHaven for a casual Small Business Week evening focused on makers who sell. We’ll hear from 3 featured makers who will each give a short show-and-tell about what they make, where they sell, how they got started, and one or two lessons they learned the hard way.
After the featured shares, we’ll open it up for quick introductions and optional around-the-room sharing (about 30–60 seconds each). Attendees are encouraged to bring an item, sample, prototype, or product they make and sell—or hope to sell someday.
This is not a formal pitch event. It’s a practical, friendly gathering for people who want to learn from real examples, swap ideas, and meet others building maker-based businesses.
Good fit for:
- Makers who already sell their work
- People exploring Etsy, markets, commissions, wholesale, or direct sales
- Members developing products, small-batch goods, or creative side businesses
- People with an idea they want to test or explore
- Anyone curious about the business side of making
