A food dehydrator is a kitchen appliance used to remove moisture from food to preserve it for long-term storage. Members at a makerspace use it to create dried fruits, vegetables, herbs, and snacks, allowing them to explore food preservation techniques and experiment with flavors and textures.

The Behmor 2000AB Plus Roaster was bought with a member fundraiser, and can roast up to 1 pound of coffee.

The HERMs Brewing System is a versatile tool used in makerspaces for all-grain brewing, allowing members to create their own beer at home. Members at the makerspace use it to create shelf-stable preserves, including vegetables, meats, and soups, allowing them to explore food preservation techniques and promote self-sufficiency.
