Contrary to popular belief, crocheting is not just for people of a certain generation! Crochet is for anyone who is interested! Join CIR Ceresa Newsome at Ives Squared to learn how to crochet a granny square.
In this session, users will learn how to work a crochet chain stitch, how to work the double crochet stitch, how to work a granny cluster, how to make a granny square, and how to read a crochet pattern.
The tools & materials required are a crochet hook, a ball of yarn, and scissors. Materials will be available at Ives Squared but feel free to bring your own. Optional materials are a tapestry needle and tape measure.
