In this 3 hour class you’ll make your own lined, zippered pouch approximately 8" long, which can be used for storing anything from everyday tools to makeup (or both!). Through this process you will learn how to install zippers, attach lining as well as thread and safely operate a sewing machine, make buttonholes, and sew buttons. 

All material provided. If participants have specific fabric they would like to use to make their pouch, please feel welcome to bring it. Fabric should be two (2) 10" cotton squares.

Join us for an exciting hand-printing + embroidery class! In this workshop, we will create hand-cut stencils for printing onto fabric. We will then add embroidered stitches in interesting ways, over-top your hand-printed cotton fabric.

Perfect for those new to printing and/or embroidery, or those with some experience looking to experience, play and learn some new approaches to making.

No experience required. Participants will leave with the knowledge of how to repeat the process and an embroidered image on fabric.

Freestyle crochet for people who don’t like following patterns!

We will be crocheting a pair of mittens (or fingerless mittens). Participants should be able to single crochet. If you don’t know how, you can learn here: How to Crochet for Absolute Beginners: Part 1 (this video recommends acrylic yarn. You can use any yarn you like.)
