The large format printer has been out of commission for a long time. Perhaps it would make sense to get a new, more moderately sized and maintainable wide format printer so that people can print tabloid sized posters or larger pamphlets and zines. It would take up less space than the broken large format printer but still allow people to print larger than just 8.5x11.
