Play Test Escape New Haven's New Large Group Game
Vanishing Island is a hidden paradise where animals live in peace, protected by magical guardian statues. These statues are kept in a secret cave and known only to the eldest member of each animal family. To humans, the island usually appears as a barren rock. Once a year, the elders reveal the island to the world for a day of celebration with neighboring islands. But this year, a greedy billionaire has captured the elders and stolen the statues, planning to claim the island for his own. With a construction crew on the way, it’s up to you – the younger animals – to save your home.
In Vanishing Island, players will embark on a quest to find and return the guardian statues in order to free the elders and restore the island’s magic. Navigate through challenges, solve intricate puzzles, and outsmart the billionaire. The future of Vanishing Island depends on you!
This experience will be held in the MakeHaven classroom. We will split up into 2-3 person teams and collaborate to solve the puzzles. Gameplay will take place in the classroom and will be primarily hands-on activities on a table-top along with personal and team interactions. This event is open to MakeHaven members and their guests and will be capped at 24 participants. If you miss registration we will add you to a wait list in case spots open up or if we run a second beta test in the future.
