Private Event - Kara Papa Group PD
In the woodworking portion, participants will create a clever 3-in-1 wooden kitchen tool that functions as an oven rack pull, herb stripper, and jar opener. Guided step by step, they’ll learn how to cut, shape, and finish a hardwood piece using both power tools and hand tools while building practical, everyday woodworking skills.
In the induction forging portion, participants will heat steel using induction equipment and shape it using traditional forging techniques such as tapering, twisting, bending, and forming. With a focus on safe tool use and understanding how metal behaves when heated, they’ll gain hands-on experience manipulating material into a finished forged piece.
Across both sessions, the emphasis is on skill-building, tool confidence, and understanding material processes, with each participant leaving with two functional, self-made projects.
