Many hands make light work! Join your fellow woodworkers and makers for our quarterly wood shop cleanup day to help keep our shared creative space pristine, organized, and safe. To celebrate a job well done, MakeHaven will provide fresh pizza at the end of the session for everyone who pitched in.

What to Expect

This is a relaxed, community-driven volunteer event focused on refreshing the wood shop. We will spend a few hours tackling deeper maintenance, clearing out accumulated scrap, wiping down machinery, and organizing tools. The format is casual and collaborative, allowing you to hang out with other shop regulars while giving back to the space. Once the cleaning is wrapped up, we will gather for pizza and social time.

What’s Provided

  • All necessary cleaning supplies, brooms, shop vacs, and trash bags.
  • Safety gear, including dust masks and gloves.
  • Pizza and refreshments at the conclusion of the cleanup.

Who Should Join

This event is open to all MakeHaven members, especially frequent wood shop users, safety-cleared makers, or anyone looking to meet fellow members while helping maintain a top-tier workspace. 18+ Only.
