Learn how to create compelling short video content to promote your mission without needing expensive software or technical expertise. Hosted in partnership between NAAAP CT, MakeHaven, and Young Le Do of New Lêaf Strategic, this live virtual workshop guides nonprofits, volunteers, and social entrepreneurs through practical, accessible video production strategies.

About This Event

Partnering between NAAAP CT and MakeHaven, hosted by Young Le Do of New Lêaf Strategic.

This virtual event is for:

  • Nonprofits
  • Volunteers
  • Social entrepreneurs

who want live guidance on how to create short videos to promote their work, using free tools such as CapCut, Canva, and AI.

Led by community members who learned these skills while running nonprofits and small businesses, this workshop is designed to share practical tools, uplift others, and build community among people creating content for good.

The event will start with a quick virtual tour of MakeHaven's Media Room to showcase local resources, followed by an interactive demo of the process. The second half of the session will be hands-on practice and Q&A. Think of it as a dedicated time for content creation with guidance and maybe even collaboration with others who create content for good!

What You'll Walk Away With

You'll walk away with a simple checklist for creating short videos that you can post on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn and start connecting with your audience!

Where: Virtual via Zoom (Note: While this includes a quick virtual tour of the MakeHaven Media Room, there is no in-person meeting at MakeHaven.)
