Growing mushrooms requires a different technique from growing leafy plants. Pick up everything you need to start cultivating culinary fungi.

If you pick up a Take and Make kit from the main branch of the NHFPL, you'll have everything you need to get started with growing tasty Golden Oyster mushrooms. Call the library at 203-946-8130 ext. 140 between July 12-24 to reserve your kit.

This month we'll also have an in-person workshop where a limited number of people can assemble their kits together. Since space is limited due to social distancing, registration is required. Registering for the workshop will also reserve you one kit.
