Second Sundays: Monthly Maker Meetup: Scrap Swap!

What to Expect

This is a relaxed, social meetup designed to help members connect and clear out their workspaces. We will have designated areas for different types of materials where you can drop off your scraps and browse what others have brought. In addition to the swap, we will have a low pressure show and tell. If you have a finished project or even a work in progress you are proud of, bring it along to share the story behind it with the group!

What to Bring

• Usable Scraps: Bring materials that are still in good, workable condition. Think fabric quarters, wood pieces, leather scraps, or interesting papers.
• Show and Tell Items: Bring a project you have recently finished or something you are currently working on.
• Snacks to Share: We’ll provide some basic refreshments, but feel free to bring along a favorite treat to share if you are feeling inspired.

Who Should Join

This meetup is open to the public and makers of all stripes. If you enjoy making things and meeting creative people, you belong here! This session is all about sharing tips, finding unique materials, and seeing the amazing variety of work happening in the shop.
