Join us in growing the MakeHaven community by spreading the word about all we have to offer! At this event, we’ll distribute flyers and plan outreach to help recruit new members. Together, we’ll visit local community spaces such as libraries, coffee shops, gyms, and other high-traffic areas to put up flyers and share information about MakeHaven.
This is a fun and social way to make an impact while helping sustain our community. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm!

Working in a group setting makes the process less intimidating and more collaborative!
This event is for MakeHaven members who have already completed the video and quiz portion of the Sewing Machine Badge and are ready to dive into hands-on practice. Together, we’ll walk through the in-person check-out process and create your take-home project.
This event happens monthly, on the second Monday of each month (holidays notwithstanding).

• Hands-on practice as you sew a simple microwavable rice neck pillow.
• Support and encouragement in a collaborative group setting, ideal for easing any nerves about using the machine.
• Completion of the in-person portion of the Sewing Machine Badge.

Second Sunds is a social gathering for makers. Whether you're working on something wild and wonderful, or still brainstorming your next big idea, this is the perfect space to show it off or bounce ideas around. We want to see what you’ve been up to, hear your stories, and get inspired by each other’s creativity. Snacks provided; feel free to bring a favorite to share if inspired.
