Open Studios New Haven is a month of open studios and art events across the city. MakeHaven's day is Sunday, October 11, 10am-2pm: hourly tours of the space plus a maker showcase.
Be part of what visitors see. Come in and work on a project while tours come through, or set up a table of finished work (selling is fine). Tell people what you're making and how you learned to do it at MakeHaven. Stay as long as you like within 10am-2pm. Add a note saying what you plan to show and for roughly how long.
Thank you: every volunteer gets a MakeHaven t-shirt to wear on the day. Do both tour shifts (4+ hours) and we add $15 toward lunch. Signing up for more than one shift is encouraged.
