Skill Share Class
Slow Food Shoreline is adding a new cooking series to our Cook.Eat.Share program - SkillShare! Each month we will gather to learn a new cooking skill or technique. The teachers will be community members, like you, who want to share their cooking knowledge with fellow Slow Foodies.
For our first class, we'll learn how to make kimchi from community member Mike Cook. During the 90 minute class we'll taste several varieties of kimchi, prepare a batch together, and you will take home a 16 oz jar to enjoy with family and friends. The history of this Korean dish and the health benefits of eating naturally fermented foods will also be discussed in this class.
The class is Thursday, April 14 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm and will be held at Make Haven. Tickets are $7, to cover the cost of materials, and free to members of Make Haven. Make Haven members should RSVP directly to margaret@slowfoodshoreline.org.
Tickets can be purchased here.
