It would make finishing all the great metal parts we are creating in the machine shop better and easier.

It makes different consistent finishes by rounding sharp edges, removing burrs, and other small details like that

Roasting your own coffee gives you more control, is far cheaper, ensures freshness, and gives you access to a much wider range of beans! Though you can roast at home with a Whirlypop or other simple setup, having a programmable machine with heating elements, fans, and smoke control makes things much easier, more approachable for new users, and produces less of a mess.
A machine like this is probably overkill for any individual, but would be perfect for a shared kitchen space!

For drying of things (more than just hair!) Ideally with a cool setting as well.

We discussed getting one of these awhile back, and it's definitely time for an upgrade to the screenprinting press. This machine will (first of all) not break its solder points AND it allows formicro-adjusting for multi-colored and CMYK printing. Let's take screenprinting to the next level!

No more clamping the UV light to a table, finding the power strip, borrowing the plastic bin, etc etc. Curing the screen will now be faster and easier with one of these!

We have discussed among the sewing team. We really think we should replace the existing donated sewing machines which keep failing by buying at least three reliable new sewing machines. We have all worked with Necchi's during the Threads and Needles program and are very familiar with them. Catherine can obtain them locally at a discounted price. We think they are sound sewing machines that have all metal parts and therefore do not break easily, like the Kenmore. We think this is important considering the frequency of use.

The current 3D printers are a nightmare to deal with. Whether clogged nozzles or user error they seem to be breaking a ton.

What I'd propose is to get one kit, set it up and try it out for an extended amount of time. If it works out, it may be a worthwhile investment to get another one.

We work with a large number of machines that can sever arteries, incur deep puncture wounds, and cause life threatening bleeds. Even though the fire department is close by, a traumatic bleed can lead to death in five minutes or less.
