Complete these items to earn the badge.

Video watched, quiz taken, any questions?
Identify:
The controls on the machine
What is the compressed air for, turn it on
What materials can be cut (anything conductive)
Make sure any coatings are ground off 2” from all cuts
Take apart and reassemble the tip of the cutter
Cut a piece of scrap metal
Appropriate safety gear donned
Skin covered with non-synthetics
Gloves (non-synthetic), wrists covered
Mask (10-13 shade, delay), test by looking at ceiling lights
Cap for head
Closed shoes
Set PSI and electricity on machine
Fume extractor set up and turned on
Appropriately secure workpiece
Attach work clamp
Experiment with settings/travel speed
Shut down
Air and Fan off
Lines coiled
Area cleaned
