Instructor: Gayle Hawley

In this hands-on quilting workshop, participants will learn the essential techniques for binding and finishing their quilted projects. The session focuses on applying the final edges to a quilt, ensuring a professional and durable result. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects from the year to complete, or work on provided donation quilts to practice their finishing skills.

What to Expect

This standalone skill class meets on Sunday, December 6, from 1–4pm. This class combines demonstration and guided practice. The instructor will demonstrate various binding methods and hand-finishing techniques to secure quilt edges. Participants will spend the session applying these methods to their own work or practice materials.

For those who want extra time to continue working on their project, ask questions, or quilt alongside others, we will also offer a separate Quilt-Along session later in the month. This optional follow-up meets on Sunday, December 20, from 1–4pm, and is ticketed separately at $10 ($8 for members).
