In this hands-on woodworking workshop honoring Black History Month, participants will craft their own custom wooden cutting board while learning foundational woodworking skills in a supportive, POC-only affinity space. Led by Akeera, this workshop celebrates the long and powerful legacy of Black and POC makers, builders, and craftspeople. You’ll move through each stage of the process to create a beautiful, functional 10”x12” cutting board to take home.
