Build a Birdhouse with Only Handtools

Lior will walk step by step through building a bird house without having to plug anything in. To actively participate in building your own bird house you will need to acquire both materials and hand-tools. 

Required Materials:

• Wood. A pine board 5 feet long, 5 inches wide, and a half inch thick is sufficient. Plywood, other woods, or larger dimensions are OK too.
• 1-2" galvanized nails
• Exterior Wood glue (Titebond 3)
• Exterior Paint

Required equipment:

• Hand Saw
• Tape Measure
• Square
• Drill (powered drill is OK), or coping/fret saw

If you are going to the store to buy tools, the following will do the trick:

• Medium size carpenter's saw
• Tape measure
• Speed square
• Miter box
• Coping saw with blades
