Intro to Woodworking: Make a Cutting Board

Sunday, August 28, 2022 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

New to woodworking? Looking to make a custom, handmade piece to give as a gift or level up your own kitchen?

In this introductory class, Jen & Clancy will take you through the steps of making  your very own cutting board, while showing you how to use a planer, table saw, chop saw, and sander. You'll then finish your cutting board with mineral oil. It’s a great opportunity for those looking to get started in the woodshop but who may feel initially intimidated or those who prefer directed learning.

You will leave class with knowledge, hands-on experience, and your own handmade cutting board!

Get comfortable in the woodshop while you create a beautiful cutting board!
No experience necessary. Materials and safety goggles are provided.
