Join us for this information and ideation session will provide an overview presentation of the American Made Lighting competition, its goals and requirements for submission. 

$1,000 of incentives/prizes for local participaint teams to submit a concept. 10 Concepts will receive $20,000 each, there are additional prizes for prototype and manufacturing.

American-Made competitions, offered by the U.S. Department of Energy, are designed to reward innovation and problem solving. Innovators work to transform big ideas into concepts and then prototypes ready for industry testing on a condensed timeline.

The E-ROBOT Prize offers $200,000 each to the 10 teams delivering the best concepts for robots designed to install energy-saving measures in buildings. Watch American Made's video for a quick contest overview. In this session we will looks at the competition as a whole and brainstorm ideas for future exploration.

The U.S. Department of Energy, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Homeland Security are collaborating to create a Civic Innovation Challenge. Stage 1 entry must be submitted by July 1, 2020. Winners will have budgets of up to $50,000 to test out their proposal.
