Get the Scoop! Learn to Carve Wood Spoons

Thursday, December 8, 2022 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Tailored for those interested in learning the basics of spoon carving.

Participants will be provided with a pre cut spoon blank, that will allow them to focus on how to effectively and safely use the slyod and hook knives to refine the spoon shape with a focus on form and function.

With the use of a few simple tools such as card scrapers, wood rasps, spoke shaves and sand paper, participants will add their own personal touch to their functional, funky one of a kind green wood spoon.

No experience necessary. All materials and tools provided. Participants will finish the class with their own custom wooden spoon and a starter kit of carving tools to continue the hobby!
